This program is designed to teach and certify students to industry recognized code and introduce the basic skills and techniques needed for a proficient welder in most industrial, or commercial welding job settings.

Our school is an independent testing facility approved to administer Welder Performance Qualification. We provide personalized instruction for multiple codes including American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Petroleum Institute, American Welding Society, Military Standards.
CORPORATE TRAINING & CERTIFICATION
We provide welding workforce training for fabrication, maintenance, manufacturing and more. Single skill or multi skill training can be provided for your welding work force at your site or at our facilities. Our school is conveniently located with over 2000 sq. ft. specifically designed for welding classes including a large workshop and booths for groups or individual instruction.

SCWTTC provides students with the technical, and hands-on skills required to become marketable candidates for employment in the metal fabrication and welding industry through classroom activities and practical hands on shop experience.
At SCWTTC our emphasis on career technical education is the foundation for our curriculum, we serve adults seeking carrier technical training, in the areas of welding, fabrication and inspection. At SCWTTC we help student achieve their vocational educational and personal enrichment goals. Students who enter the work force as a result of carrier technical education experience positive affect, the lives of the hundreds of customers, clients or for whom they provide services. In addition, millions of other Californians are indirectly impacted because career technical education; it provides the opportunity for all residents to become productive, contributing members of the state’s and nations economic systems.
The purpose of carrier technical education is to provide quality lifelong educational opportunities to meet the unique needs of individuals and communities by providing adults with the knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively as skilled laborers, in local and regional welding related industries.
The objective of SCWTTC is to provide the guidance and resources necessary to ensure an environment supportive to learning. However, it is important to emphasize that the objective of our program is to support an educational climate in which reinforces the learning and development of the student.
Our objective is to provide each student with the skills necessary to participate and function effectively in the welding industries. In addition, Southern California Welding Training & Testing Center is committed to the goal of achieving excellence through a program of instruction which offers each student an opportunity to develop to the maximum of his potential.

Southern California Welding Training & Testing Center’s physical address is located at 1500 Mariner Dr. Unit F, Oxnard, CA 93033. The facility consists of over 2,000 square feet of classrooms and offices specifically designed as a welding, and fabrication school.
There are two administrative offices, a common instruction area, a large workshop and nine welding booths for individual instruction, with teaching equipment sufficient to meet educational needs. One restroom located adjacent to administrative office. Maximum capacity for the school is 10 students on each shift, day and night. Our welding courses can be practiced in any of our welding booths.
